'Hello dear had the honor of your friendship I am ready to help'
Hello in August 2015 my father force me to leave home against my will as he fear for my life after Daesh had taken control of our area. I left behind everything I ever knew and my family to start a tiring and sad journey. I made it to Idlib and onto the Turkish Border where I see many Syrians- Children, Women and the ill elderly (old people) who were in fear, and sorrow for their homeland which they may never be able to return to. It was shocking I could not believe to see Children, Women, elderly naked , as night come those known as ‘smugglers’ come to take us across the Border into Turkey. They were people or creatures with no emotion or feelings, they felt more like monsters than people. They exploit us and were shameless with money and with women and children. At dawn in the darkness I try to cross the border we hear gunfire from Turkish Army but we had no option but to continue even in the face of death. Some of the young men help women and children and the elderly but the number of younger men was low and the others were many. It was a sense of chaos (KAY OS) and fear. I carry a young boy maybe 4 years old on my shoulders and the ground was uneven with rocks and holes and wire. I was only thinking about the boy – the soul I was carrying and not realise what was going on around me. After 3 times we made it all praise be to God. We go to the bus station to go to Izmir where I stayed for 9 days looking for a smuggler. There were so many people, people wanting to go to the unknown and running away from fear and death in Syria. I find a smuggler and they put 50 in rubber dingee and push us into the waves of the sea into the unknown . Women children in middle and men on side, we cannot move and everyone was crying from the rough waves we stay in sea 5 hours until Greek coastguard rescue us. I go by bus and train to Macedonia, Serbia, Serbian police they beat us and put people in prison and stop us from leaving I was walking at night I walk so much I don’t feel my feet then I get a bus to Austria. Austrians were kind then travel to Germany by train. In Germany police on train stop I but let me go to France and I reach Calais and the jungle at night after journey of a month. I am in shock it is cold and raining and rubbish everywhere I am so tired I sleep on ground and cover myself with plastic bag. I stayed in the jungle for 10 months life was hard. The police are not caring they treat children and women the same. They make dogs jump on us and it is cold, I wait in queue 3 times to shower, you allowed only 6 minutes to go in and out. I find a smuggler we are told to climb in a fridge lorry with fruit and vegetable I help a large mother to carry her young daughter Darien she was around 1 year and half, the mother cannot climb on so I give her daughter back. We stay in lorry for 12 hours and freezing I am happy the lady and daughter not come. Then the lorry stop and we cannot breathe so we bang on door so he calls police and they come and open door we are slowly breathing again I want to say that not all what you see in the media is true. I never chose to leave my country or to be a refugee. Refugees are not monsters or aliens I was forced to make this journey. Some people here have sympathy however not the government. I don’t want anyone to go through what I did. I take £36 from government for a week and I cannot work I don’t want people to have to experience this
I had the honor of his story
