First of all the whole aesthetics looked really beautiful. Nothing was in conjunction with each other and all the objects and materials seemed to be in harmony. The dropping water on the projector looked sharp and precise, the shape of water converted and form into different looks, which was fascinating. I love the blue ink on the projection, seeing it melting and combining with the water was enjoyable. The details really attracted me.  I think it could be interesting if you would like to make more changes in blue color, making the blue color the centre of the stage, and everything else keeps white and pure and clean.

The water bottle pieces on the projection was impressive, it looked like the wrinkle of water, which could make me relate to your topic - the wrinkle of skins. The edge of plastic  broke the water drop into parts and gave pattern to the water. The plastic divided the entire screen and created separation. Also,it looks like the water been polluted by stains.

In order to related resources and recycling, I think there could be a more varied way of using plastics. For example you can use the cling film to wrap on the wall to make the whole space looks ‘plastic’ and use lights to create some shines on the water and plastic. Or  to use the cling film to line out and create a performance space, maybe have four pillar and wrap the cling film around it while you perform in the middle and the audiences spectate you outside the cling films.

The image created on the projector gave me a feeling of the broken beauty. Because we can see the water been added with plastic, blue ink, and the image of ‘pure water’ was destroyed. It made me feel that the beauty is not going to be back anymore, though we like what you were doing, but it stopped the integrity and the purity of the image. The sense of loss suddenly raised when i was watching.

In terms of costume, I think as long as it follows the aesthetics would be fine. I think plain white could also work, and the rain cape looked also very nice under the light.

I don’t think the move of cutting bottles and the screen would clash, because your  movement gave meaning to the projection. But I think it would be easier to connect if you could provide more context or information around the theme during the performance.

I think the sound of cutting plastic bottles could be really loud sometimes and even covers the recording. But I really love the background noise of the recording sound. Which is the noise of people talking, the sound of normal daily life and especially the water flashing. The sound reminded me of living then made me start to think about the life of refugees, and those who do not have enough water for life.
